TRANSPARENCY
Data Sources & Freshness
SlateSignals is in NFL season mode. Public research is refreshed only after required football data layers pass integrity checks.
NFL research
Primary inputs include verified nflverse schedule, roster, weekly player-stat and play-by-play datasets, combined with SlateSignals modeling and research transformations.
Completed 2026 regular-season games feed player production, usage trends, game logs, team trends, defense-vs-position, red-zone/TD context and weekly player projections. Early-season samples are stabilized with a shrinking 2025 prior.
NFL milestone probabilities
The public NFL projection page no longer requires a sportsbook threshold. It automatically generates at-least milestone probabilities from the Model Fair Line and empirical volatility for passing yards, rushing yards, receiving yards and receptions.
The underlying model may retain optional market-line fields for private calibration, but the public workflow is intentionally simpler and does not require manual line entry.
Publication gate
A page can show LIVE, PARTIAL, WAITING or STALE depending on source coverage and recency. The website should not present an incomplete critical research layer as fully ready.
Public data policy
SlateSignals publishes only redistributable source data and metrics generated by SlateSignals from permitted inputs. Restricted subscription-only grades, rankings, matchup labels, screenshots and proprietary provider outputs are not republished or used as hidden substitutes for SlateSignals metrics.
Seasonal site scope
Only active-season research is exposed on the public site. Inactive-sport tooling is retained privately so stale research pages do not remain in the public experience.
Leakage protection
Only games completed before the current research week are eligible for the current-season model layer. Same-week results are excluded from that week's projections.
