Research database
The public layer organizes game context, players, team trends, starting pitchers, lineup status, first-inning history, matchup strength and model projections into searchable research tools.
SlateSignals organizes public sports research around transparent inputs, freshness, historical context and model outputs. The current Public Beta is research-only; sportsbook pricing and market-edge tools are reserved for future development.
The public layer organizes game context, players, team trends, starting pitchers, lineup status, first-inning history, matchup strength and model projections into searchable research tools.
Probabilities, projections, matchup scores and research grades are estimates—not guarantees. They should be interpreted with the supporting sample, opponent context and data-readiness state shown beside them.
Daily and weekly refreshes become more mature as official schedules, probable starters, lineups, depth charts and current roles become clearer. Update timestamps and readiness labels stay visible because freshness is part of the research.
Pregame snapshots can be preserved internally before results are known. This allows SlateSignals to evaluate calibration and model quality over meaningful samples without postgame re-ranking.
The current public product intentionally excludes sportsbook prices, market edges and pick decisions. That work is preserved for a future SlateSignals market-intelligence layer and is not required to use the research database.
Source code, proprietary feature engineering and unpublished market logic are not exposed. Public methodology focuses on what each metric means, where data comes from and how users should interpret the research.
